Activity Introduction
“Where Does Food Come From” is a parent-child experience designed for children aged 2 to 8, allowing children to explore the origins of food firsthand. The event will take children out of their homes and classrooms to visit local farms. Through games, stories, interactive activities and farm experiences, children will understand that food does not only come from stores or kitchens, but comes from nature and the hard work of farmers.
Course Content

Visit a local organic farm and observe how vegetables and fruits are grown

Learn about different types of fruits, vegetables and crops, and understand their appearance, smell, taste and texture

Experience simple planting activities, such as sowing, watering, and harvesting (depending on the needs of the farm on the day of the activity)

Learn about organic farming and the work of local farmers

Participate in a food production workshop and learn how food is transformed from raw materials into delicious dishes on your daily table

The game story guides children to actively ask questions and explore nature
