Messy Chalk Play
Open the paper chalk box, and the five-colored chalks come into view. Same chalk, different colors, always close together. The same is true for people. Although their skin colors and cultures are different, Nature Play believes that children from different places all like to play. Therefore, Nature Play collaborates with the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui St. Joseph's Church and Social Service Centre to organize Messy Chalk Play, bringing together Nepalese and Hong Kong children and families to play together and learn about each other's culture. 
Hong Kong has always been a city with diverse ethnic groups. According to the 2011 population census, there are about 451,000 people in Hong Kong who are reported as non-Chinese, including Indonesians, Filipinos, Nepalese, etc. How well do we know these minorities? How do Nepalese live in Hong Kong? We probably won’t suddenly get excited to look up information about other ethnic groups, but what if we just get to know each other through games? Through Messy Chalk Play, Nature Play hopes to help Nepali and local children and families understand each other's culture. Participants can use the chalk in their hands to doodle and draw on the ground to create a cross-border painting. They can also play some childhood games in Nepal and Hong Kong, enjoy a Nepalese-style lunch and communicate with each other; at the same time, they can play with water and ice and enjoy the coolness of nature in the hottest summer. Games can break through boundaries and are not bound by language or culture, allowing children from different countries to easily understand that everyone can draw the same sky with chalk on the same piece of land.
