About NaturePlayHK

We firmly believe that the power of nature can touch children's gifted senses and inspire their creativity and potential with the same mentality as mothers nurture their children.

Nature Play was established in 2015 with the mission of building a community outdoor learning platform to enable families to have high-quality parent-child interactions, children to have a healthy and happy childhood, and individuals to have a healthy body and mind. We create a safe, fun and playful environment suitable for children to learn, drawing inspiration from nature, allowing children aged 1-12 to freely choose what to play, how to play, explore the essence of nature on their own, and enjoy the fun. Adults provide support and, when appropriate, participate to strengthen the parent-child relationship.

Since 2018, Nature Play has collaborated with different backgrounds and sectors to provide appropriate play solutions for community groups, shopping malls, businesses, and schools, reaching out to the wider community.

I was afraid of getting dirty when I played it for the first time, but because I wanted to encourage my children to participate, I bravely tried it. Later I found that it was very fun! Messy Play in nature play is guided by instructors and has a variety of themes. It can improve children’s fear of dirt and contact with new things. I can also play with my children wholeheartedly, so I really like to participate.

The "Batong Street-Beihe Food Distribution" activity made us deeply realize that not everyone has a warm home and can have enough food to eat every meal. During the meal distribution process, the children learned about road-bound travelers, their living environment, and the loss of joy when there are too many people in line and not enough lunch boxes. We hope that the children can learn to cherish food and what they have.

“This is my first time participating in the Nature Yoga activity. At first, I saw many adults were reluctant to take off their shoes because they were afraid of getting dirty. But after seeing the children running and jumping freely barefoot on the grass, the adults also bravely took the first step and enjoyed the close contact and freedom with the grass. The instructor guided the children to perform various actions in a lively and interesting way, such as acting out different animal forms, which not only made it easy for the children to master abstract actions but also stimulated their imagination. It was indeed a very powerful performance.
