BB Messy Playgroup Program

In our minds, no child has special needs because every child is unique. As children grow up, they will encounter different challenges and need different support. Some quiet and slow-reacting children may have strong observation skills; some smart children need to learn to get along with others and experience empathy. With the goal of holistic development, we hope to work together with parents on the Playgroup platform to explore and support the growth needs and potential of each child, especially those beyond academic or knowledge cognition.

The nature-based BB Messy Playgroup is designed for local children aged 6 months to 4 years old. We draw materials from nature and allow children to actively explore the essence of nature through free play. Parents and children experience together, participate together, communicate with each other, and build relationships. The design of this program is inspired by children's lives, David A. Kolb's experiential learning cycle, Waldorf and Montessori teaching concepts and cross-disciplinary learning elements, and is suitable for the needs of local children.

The program objectives are to enable children and parents to: 1) have a deeper understanding of the concept of our games; 2) discuss and assist with the growth needs of individual children with parents; 3) enable children to develop the habit of actively exploring and learning. In the exploration space, we let children come into contact with a variety of natural materials, including colors, flour, cornstarch, water, mud, leaves, branches and other materials. The stories and singing and dancing in the series stimulate imagination, creativity and flexible thinking, allowing parents and children to learn and grow together easily.
