Fireflies at night

" Twinkle~ twinkle~ little star~" Did you catch these lyrics and sing along? Everyone, young and old, knowsthis song. Listening to it, we all unconsciously relax, letting our minds wander.

The stars in the sky sparkle with enchanting beauty. While we can't pluck them, we can touch the stars on earth, satisfying a child's quest for beauty. The glow of fireflies, the stars on earth, in the pitch darkness, is equally beautiful, bringing us beautiful reverie in the quiet of the night. That's why firefly colonies attract travelers, and us too.

Whenit's time for fireflies to mate, some males will flash to attract mates. It's like a man finally professing his love for a woman on a promised night. The scene is romantic and exciting, reminiscent of Roman Tam's famous lyrics: "Light plus heat equals fire, fire plus song equals me ..."

The nature-based recreational program "Firefly Night Hunt" features specially designed viewing routes and activities, allowing children to track fireflies and learn about ecological conservation. This program aims to spark children's curiosity and foster a love for the natural environment of fireflies. Hiking at night is excellent physical exercise and can help children overcome their fear of the dark. Walking with parents also strengthens family bonds and trust. While experiencing nature, parents and children can also learn about relevant natural science, such as the ecology and characteristics of fireflies, as well as other nocturnal animals.Did you know that fireflies eat "French cuisine"? Did you know you can see fireflies even without a flashlight? To learn more about fireflies, join the "Firefly Night Hunt"!
