Little Flower Bud's Enrollment
In mid-January, Xiao Hualei attended an admission assessment interview. We arrived at the school on time early that morning. 
The staff asked me to come back in an hour to pick up Xiao Hualei, and then took Xiao Hualei away. When I saw her again, it is no exaggeration to say that I was so shocked by what I saw in front of me that my eyes were stunned and my jaw almost dropped. The little flower bud was covered in mud from head to toe, and the skirt that I specially asked her to wear was dripping with water. A mud duck was the perfect way to describe her at that time. The teacher in charge of the assessment brought her to me and said that Xiao Hualei had a lot of fun today. He could see that she really enjoyed the meeting which lasted more than an hour. He also said that she was very good at exploring the surroundings and was very engaged in the play. The teacher in front of me is in a similar situation to Xiao Hualei, and it can be seen that they have good interaction.It turns out that the so-called admission assessment is not conducted in the form of a face-to-face conversation, but rather the children are allowed to play with other students in the small park on campus, with the teachers observing the children's words and actions before deciding whether to admit them. Before leaving, I took another look at this "examination site". There were pools, sand pools, mud fields, small hills and large lawns in the small park. I felt at ease because I knew I had found the right school.
The next day, we received an email from the school notifying us that Xiao Hualei had been admitted. We rushed to complete the admission procedures and purchase new school uniforms and stationery. With my first experience, I bought three sets of school uniforms in one go. I knew it would not be a wrong choice, as my Xiao Hualei is a professional messy player. 
Xiao Hualei has been participating in nature play activities since she was three years old, and it has been more than two years now. The activities she often participates in include messy play, farm visits, park play and parent-child reading. She especially likes the free and harmonious atmosphere of the activities. There is no comparison, no right or wrong, and the children can be themselves without any worries. There is no urging, no criticism, and they can devote themselves to it and enjoy every minute. Xiao Hualei is a very persistent girl. In such an atmosphere, her creativity can be brought into play, her motivation for learning can be retained, her self-confidence is slowly built up, her emotional needs are met, and her emotions are often in a stable state.
