Coastal Treasure Hunt June-August
"Little Insects, Big World" is a carefully designed parent-child outdoor adventure suitable for children aged 3 to 12 and their parents. This two-hour outdoor exploration of wild animals allows children to actively explore nature and enjoy a learning experience that blends science, games, and sports.
- Location: Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve
- Date: 20/9 (Sat) / 28/9 (Sun)
- Time: 3-5 PM (2 hours)
- Target audience: Children aged 3 to 12 and their parents
Life Science Enlightenment: During the activity, the instructors guide the children to use tools to observe and understand wild animals with a positive and appreciative attitude. While hiking, they look for real insects, learn about their morphology, habits, growth process, habitat, etc., and feel the colorful life.
Sensory stimulation and development: Test your eyesight through multi-sensory involvement. Listen carefully to the chirping of insects, touch leaves and soil, explore various wild creatures, stimulate observation and hand-eye coordination, and let go of the virtual world to experience the natural world firsthand.
Inspire scientific interest: The activity combines creative science games with story sharing to stimulate children's interest in exploring ecology, conservation and science, encourage them to think actively, learn joyfully and let scientific enlightenment happen naturally.
Develop independent learning: We value “learning through play” and independent learning. In addition to guidance from instructors, we encourage children to make discoveries, ask questions and interact with others on their own, thereby enhancing their self-confidence and learning motivation, and cultivating good habits of active learning.
Parents are welcome to bring their children to get close to nature and embark on a brand new journey to experience the world of insects with laughter and curiosity!
