Streetology - Visiting grocery stores

What can you learn in the street market? My grandma has been cooking for more than 70 years. She told me that there are countless things to learn from the market: learning what to buy, learning about the sources, types and nutrition of food, learning to compare prices, learning social skills, learning to count and measure weights... Before going to the market, you have to learn to plan, think about the dishes, consider the budget, prepare time for shopping, prepare a shopping cart, shopping bags, shopping itinerary... These are all things that require thought. In addition to using your brain, you also need to use your breath and strength to bring the food you buy home! My grandma is 86 years old and still goes to the market every day. No wonder her hands, feet and brain are still so flexible!

The best way for children to learn math measurement on a daily basis is to bring them to participate in our street game activities. Nature play takes parents and children to visit the street market together to exercise their observation skills and help children understand "streetology". We will visit a grocery store that is run with care and let the children become the boss and help sell oil, grains and groceries and make small handicrafts. It is such a rare opportunity.

One of our participants was a grandmother who told us, "When I was young, I would go to the market to buy food.
