Course Description "Kitchen Waste Pioneer" is an 8-hour learning experience course designed for children aged 5 to 10. The children will personally visit local organic farms and experience the process of fruits and vegetables from planting to the table, and experience the deliciousness and nutrition of fresh fruits and vegetables.

During the cooking process, children will learn about the generation of food waste and how to convert food waste into organic nutrients needed by the land through composting, thereby promoting the recycling of resources. The course emphasizes cherishing food and environmental awareness, so that children understand that the earth’s resources should not be wasted, but can return to nature and nourish new life.

Course Content

• Visit local organic farms and experience vegetable and fruit growing

• Learn about the process of fruits and vegetables from farm to table

• Learn how to classify and process food waste

• Practice composting and learn about organic ecological cycles and composting science

• Cultivate environmental awareness and attitude of cherishing food

The course focuses on experience, hands-on learning, interactive games and practice, and is suitable for children aged 5-10. The activity will be held outdoors and in farmland. Please prepare appropriate clothing and drinking water for your children. The courses are safe and guided by instructors, allowing children to grow through learning and games and become little pioneers in protecting the earth.
