Natural Play Plastic Band

Everyone has a routine rhythm of life. For example, we may be accustomed to buying a takeaway cup of coffee from a chain coffee shop before going to work every day, and then putting it in a corrugated paper ring to insulate it; then after tasting the rich coffee, we still have to discard the paper cup in the trash can for convenience and hygiene reasons. No matter how much we cherish it, the coffee cup still needs to be sent to the landfill . Maybe some of us don’t drink coffee at all, but it’s hard to avoid some habits of wasting resources easily; we know that this is not the most environmentally friendly, but this rhythm of life has become a habit. Between "convenient living" and "green living", can we still continue to work hard, stop, think, and continue to explore space and creativity to try new rhythms and new routines?

Any pleasant piece of music needs a moderate amount of variation. Let your children make their own beats and discover the wonderful uses of seemingly garbage things, so that they can reflect on their own living habits and cherish things and reduce waste. To support environmental education, Nature Play has come up with a creative way to design community games with a group of young music enthusiasts and community members. They use materials that would otherwise become garbage to create innovative and fun percussion instruments, creating new green rhythms.

From December 2017 to date, we have held 23 public music and art performances in different places such as Tai Kwun in Central, West Kowloon Park, Zero Carbon Building, large shopping malls, community squares, country parks, kindergartens, etc., playing MESSY DRUM, NANTA performances, concerts, environmentally friendly small musical instrument DIY, and nature games, etc., using multicultural art performances to reach friends aged 2 to 82.
